Some of these magazines have excessive amounts of glue in the spine and that glue causes utter havoc with feed rollers on ADFs (witness the warped page on the other issue I need to fix). I ended up buying a small Canon LIDE300 scanner to scan a few pages that I simply could not get to feed through either of my ADF scanners.Some of these glossy magazines are a real problem to get to feed properly and these PSM3s were causing real problems to the point where pages were jamming and getting caught up and in danger of being shredded by the scanner. I'd been meaning to buy a new small flatbed anyway for some photos as my other flatbed died but this forced my hand. The only other option is to seriously hack into the magazine to cut out more of the glue but I'd prefer not to do that if possible. I'll have to play with colour profiles when I have a chance to get them looking a little closer. Last modified by: Jason Oct 02, 2024, 08:18 PM |
