I was just reminded of this site earlier today so I thought I'd post it in case anyone is interested in having a look.
The Gamesmen is the oldest continuously running game store in Australia, founded in 1982. It's still owned and operated by the same family. The original founder was sadly murdered in an armed robbery in 1995.
They've scanned and made available for viewing all their old catalogues. It's very interesting to have a read through some of them, and yeah, we paid some horrendous prices back then before global shopping bought more competition.

I like looking at catalogues. That's why I like APC magazine where the back of the mag was chock full of them. For a long while I had heaps of issues of the US version of Computer Shopper. That was literally a catalogue parading as a mag. Real shame I dumped them in the days pre-scanner!!
