Recently I have become very interested in the publisher "ThinIceMedia" who were a subsidiary owned by Datel (creator of Action Replay and other unlicensed products).
I believe they mainly published magazines as a way to sell their chat systems and other 3rd party accessories for consoles, as pretty much every ad slot is for one of their own products.

They published the following titles that I know about:
* PSi2 - PS2 Magazine
* G-Force - Gamecube Magazine
* GBX - GBA Magazine
* Rated - DVD Reviews Magazine
* Code Junkies - Cheat code magazine

While I was looking into them I came across a magazine they published in collaboration with Toys-r-us called "Play On".

You cannot view this attachment.

The photo above is a copy I checked out from the library, I had to reduce quality as the forum only allows images up to 128KB. It is from Summer 2003 and marked as issue 1.

In the introduction section it mentioned that it was going to be published 4 times a year, but the British Library only had one issue and I can't find any other information about it online.

Does anyone know much about this title? Was there ever more than 1 issue published?

Honestly issue 1 was nothing special but I am always interested in finding out more about short-lived magazines.

I used to get PSi2 and G-Force all the time. They were really interesting mags that basically just doubled up as free advertising for all of Datels weird and wonderful peripherals and accessories. Never even saw Play On though, I wonder if it was only available in Toys R Us?

This also reminds me that I now have a complete collection of PSi2 which I need to get scanning as there seems to be very few copies of that around.

I would absolutely LOVE to see more scans of PSi2 magazine! I have scanned all the issues I owned and put them on archive.org (25, 35, 38) and as long as they haven't been DMCA'd they should still be up  :)

Do you also have the CDs that were included with every issue? I would love to back them up but I need to investigate how to back it up so that they can be played in an emulator (even if they are just cheats and videos).

Sadly I only have the magazines so am just scanning those in.

No idea where the dvds went. They were pretty weird if I remember correctly.
