First off, hello friends!
A new place again after a year? Well, at least this is a nice place. Thanks for letting us know Kiwi.

As for subject, i was wondering if anyone knows of any Street Fighter guide books, more specifically, if anyone maybe has (or if its here and i don't see it) a "Street Fighter Alpha 3 Official Strategy Guide for Dreamcast (Brady Games)"?

I recently started playing, but i just cant find that book anywhere, so i was wondering if you guys have it perhaps? Would be much appreciated whatever is the answer.  ::)

Unfortunately, I personally do not have the title you are looking for.

Yep, this is the last time I migrate the site. If it crashes I won't bother rebuilding it I think, as the stress from re-adding 10,000+ files is horrid, and I am getting too old to deal with it. That and my wife would go nuts at me ... again!!

Oh god, i didn't realize it was that dramatic. Well, lets hope it wont come to this, this is a great website/blog, really great collection.

As for magazine, yeah i was looking everywhere but nothing..
Anyway, there is that book to be bought, its not cheap, and if i do end up buying it if i dont find it or if no one has it here, i wanted to ask about scaning... I mean i know you guys scan for years and its cool, but did any company ever called you like you cant do this ithis is our IP and similar?
For example how nintendo does with their IP. I know these are magazines not games, but still, im curious.

Can you tell me please? I was always scared to upload because of that haha, call me paranoid but eh..whatever.

We have never had a cease and desist order sent to us by a publishing company's lawyers although Internet Archive and even Retromags have received them, the most recent resulting in huge swaths of Future plc's magazines being taken down off the former website.

The big difference between this site and that one is we don't make content available that is currently being made available from the publishers themselves, so while I am in the process of adding content like newer issues of Edge or Retro Gamer, these are merely placeholders to indicate what we have preserved and NOT what is actually available for download. It also gives members an opportunity to donate mags that we may be missing.

We do not want to deprive the publishers from earning a living off their work. The Internet Archive doesn't give a crap about the publishers or authors. Their "open library" lending during COVID was a prime example of that and their chief asswipe Jason Scott is on record as saying he doesn't care one whit about copyright. Regardless of their particular stance, if we were to receive a cease and desist for particular content we would comply with it. It is not in our interests, or mine, to get sued out of existence.

This is a hobby, born out of a desire to preserve great content from being lost forever, but the operative word here is "hobby". I don't make money off this endeavor. Donations by and large usually don't cover our running costs but merely help ease the financial burden of those costs on me personally somewhat. That's because it's a one-off donation. I'm not interested in making a living off scanning other peoples magazines. I'd much rather the publishers make content available themselves but they don't seem to be doing a great job of that by and large especially with older magazines. That's where we target our endeavors.

Regarding your particular title. The Dreamcast was discontinued in 2001. Brady games/Prima wouldn't have published that title in the last twenty years so the likelihood of you attracting attention from scanning that is probably nil to be honest.

From what I understand Video Game History Foundation's Frank Cifaldi was getting scans from Internet Archive. He recently announced he's getting scans from Retromags so he's trying to save time with his scans by getting ones already preserved.
