Wow, I sent this back in 2021. Any chance you could credit me for the scan?

Peter

This along with #142 which is coming as soon as I edit it, are actually new scans on the 5650c and do not have the blurred spine area seen on your submissions.

For some reason I forgot you had submitted them previously, possibly because I don't see them on the NAS but regardless, it's preferable if an issue can be scanned on a document scanner with no blurring that it "supersedes" flatbed scanned issues to provide the best version possible.

This in no way detracts from your submissions. I am also rescanning issue 05 because I previously scanned it on a flatbed and now want to provide a better version now I have the A3 document scanner so this mantra applies to me as much as it does to the next person.

142 has already been scanned by me. Sent it along with lots of other corrected scans back in 2020. Hasn't been uploaded yet but it was sent so not sure why you're scanning it again.

Since Kiwi hasn't been communicating with me I decided to do some investigation into Issue 124. I had sent my scan back in 2021 but like most emails notifying a new upload I get radio silence, although in this case he did say my scan saved him work having to do it himself. I thought he had already uploaded it until someone here requested it. Looking at the copy Kiwi has here and my own copy I've come to the conclusion they are not the same scans. It seems mine turned out a little better in terms of colour saturation and page scanning. To be honest I'm not sure why he bothered scanning 124 when I had already sent it to him but both are readable.

There's a large number of GM scans (as well as Radio Times) I have sent over but for whatever reason Kiwi has yet to upload them.

EDIT: oh my gosh this is a total mess! A lot of Nipedly and my scans aren't being credited when uploaded. I did fix a good number of his scans but now I'm not sure if Kiwi has uploaded them or Nipedly when he last moved the mags over in 2022. I know for a fact some of those scans ARE mine as well.

You know Peter is Kiwi, right? Not sure a separate thread for this was necessary, and in it you ask why things you submitted were being rescanned, but you were given an answer in the very post you quoted:

Kiwi

I'm going to answer this in the separate post slider1983 made as I wish to keep the "new releases" thread for just that.

Warplane issues 15 - 20 are now available. God I love the small page count of these things! Makes them quick to scan!!  ;D
