Thank you very much for the uploads. :)

Sinclair User #39 is now available.

Newsfield staff at competing Crash magazine decided to parody this issue in their August 1985 edition with Oli Frey creating the infamous Unclear User cover. This resulted in litigation and a loss in court for copyright infringement and a £60,000 out of court settlement.

Note: Pages 67/68 have a price removed with the original owner sending cutting out an order form. I have put a temporary patch in to allow me to scan the pages. When I find a suitable quality replacement I will make the pages available separately for people to replace the offending pages in the CBZ file

Kiwi

Sinclair User #24 is now available. Less than a dozen issues of this title left in my collection to scan ....

Game Player's PC Strategy Guide Vol. 02 Issue 03 is available HERE.

I've taken to making these animated before/after gifs for the benefit of anyone who thinks that nicely edited scans just magically pop out of the scanner at the press of a button.  Don't I wish... No, first comes the scan, then comes the hard part...

Awesome! For anything after I can always contribute my own magazines if you need.

Quote from: Kiwi on Mar 20, 2025, 04:10 PMJust when I thought I'd seen the biggest computer mag in existence Jason surprises me again with the 600+ page April 1994 issue of Computer Shopper (UK)
Computer Shopper's were big. I am interested to know now which was the biggest issue. 🤔

Kiwi

Sinclair User #20 is now available. Pages 133/134 are truncated by to previous owner cutting a section out but when I can find a suitable quality replacement scan I will add them here so people can update their CBZ file ...

Kiwi

Commodore User #16 gets updated with the games supplement added to the CBZ file. Those of you wanting a "complete" issue might want to redownload the replacement file ...

Imagine being that one guy who had a subscription to all 472 video game magazines being published in any given month in the UK back then.

Blimey, never heard of this one either! It's remarkable to think how prevalent the console was during this era, with every Tom, Dick, and Harry wanting their piece of the pie. I'll definitely flick through these. Appreciate the upload, Gregorick.

That feels like one to two mags for every different computer system being sold back then.

BBC Micro, Acorn Electron, Atom, Vic-20, C-64, Amstrad CPC, Atari, ZX-81, Spectrum 48k, CBM Pet, New Brain (I kid you not!!), TRS-80, DAI, Video Genie, Microcontroller, NASCOM 3, NEC PC8000, Sharp MZ, Sorceror (WTF?  :o  ) TI99/4a, ADAM, Memotech, Spectravideo SV-328, Dragon 32, Oric, GEC Dragon 64 (yet another :o ), Apple II, CGLM5 (what the ...??), Gemini Galaxy 2, Mattel Aquarius, Lucas LX ... and that list was pulled from a mere 3 mags from the early 1980's. Holy shit!!
